Ingredients

For the Jaggery-Jeera Water

  • 4 cups water
  • ¼ cup Sarbu Jaggery Powder
  • 1½ tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
  • ½ tsp roasted cumin powder
  • ¼ tsp Sarbu Black Salt
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 4–5 fresh mint leaves (optional)

  • A light sprinkle of roasted cumin powder

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Jeera Water

  1. Add cumin seeds and 4 cups of water to a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil and simmer for 3–4 minutes.
  3. Turn off the heat and allow the cumin water to cool slightly.
  4. Strain to remove the cumin seeds.

Step 2: Add the Jaggery

  1. Add Sarbu Jaggery Powder to the warm cumin water.
  2. Stir until the jaggery dissolves completely.
  3. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature.

Step 3: Add the Flavors

  1. Add roasted cumin powder and Sarbu Black Salt.
  2. Add fresh lemon juice and mix well.
  3. Add mint leaves for extra freshness, if desired.

Step 4: Chill & Serve

Refrigerate for 20–30 minutes or serve immediately over ice. Garnish with fresh mint and lemon slices.
