Ingredients
For the Jaggery-Jeera Water
- 4 cups water
- ¼ cup Sarbu Jaggery Powder
- 1½ tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
- ½ tsp roasted cumin powder
- ¼ tsp Sarbu Black Salt
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 4–5 fresh mint leaves (optional)

- A light sprinkle of roasted cumin powder
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Jeera Water
- Add cumin seeds and 4 cups of water to a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil and simmer for 3–4 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and allow the cumin water to cool slightly.
- Strain to remove the cumin seeds.
Step 2: Add the Jaggery
- Add Sarbu Jaggery Powder to the warm cumin water.
- Stir until the jaggery dissolves completely.
- Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature.
Step 3: Add the Flavors
- Add roasted cumin powder and Sarbu Black Salt.
- Add fresh lemon juice and mix well.
- Add mint leaves for extra freshness, if desired.
Step 4: Chill & Serve
Refrigerate for 20–30 minutes or serve immediately over ice. Garnish with fresh mint and lemon slices.
