Why Use Sarbu Jaggery Powder?
Sarbu Jaggery Powder adds a naturally rich, caramel-like sweetness that pairs beautifully with the earthy sweetness of roasted sweet potatoes. Its fine texture melts easily, creating a smooth, glossy glaze that enhances the flavor of this simple yet comforting dish.
Chef’s Tips
- Choose firm, fresh sweet potatoes that hold their shape after cooking.
- Avoid overcooking the sweet potatoes before glazing, as they can become mushy.
- Keep the heat low while melting the jaggery to prevent it from burning.
- For a richer flavor, roast the cooked sweet potatoes in ghee before adding the glaze.
- Add a pinch of chilli powder for a sweet-and-spicy variation.
- Serve immediately for the best texture and glossy finish.
