Ingredients

For the Sharbat

  • ½ cup Sarbu Jaggery Powder
  • 4 cups chilled water
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • ½ tsp roasted cumin powder
  • ¼ tsp black pepper powder
  • ¼ tsp Sarbu Black Salt
  • ½ tsp fennel powder
  • 1 tbsp fresh mint leaves, finely chopped
  • Ice cubes, as needed

For Garnishing

  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Lemon slices
  • A light sprinkle of roasted cumin powder

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Jaggery Syrup

  1. Add Sarbu Jaggery Powder and ½ cup water to a saucepan.
  2. Heat gently for 2–3 minutes until the jaggery dissolves completely.
  3. Strain the syrup and allow it to cool.

Step 2: Mix the Sharbat

  1. Add the cooled jaggery syrup to a large jug.
  2. Pour in the remaining chilled water.
  3. Add lemon juice, roasted cumin powder, black pepper, Sarbu Black Salt, and fennel powder.
  4. Stir well until everything is thoroughly combined.

Step 3: Chill & Serve

  1. Add chopped mint leaves and plenty of ice cubes.
  2. Stir once again.
  3. Pour into serving glasses.

Step 4: Garnish

Garnish with fresh mint leaves, lemon slices, and a light sprinkle of roasted cumin powder. Serve immediately while chilled.
