Why Use Sarbu Jaggery Powder?
Sarbu Jaggery Powder gives homemade drink syrups a rich, deep sweetness with subtle caramel-like notes. Its fine texture dissolves easily in water, making it convenient for creating a smooth syrup that can add depth and character to both cocktails and mocktails.
Chef’s Tips
- Use a 1:1 ratio of Sarbu Jaggery Powder to water for a versatile syrup that works well in beverages.
- Keep the heat low to preserve the delicate flavor of the jaggery.
- Don’t overcook the syrup, as it will become thicker as it cools.
- Strain the syrup before storing for a smoother finish.
- For a brighter flavor, add a small amount of fresh lemon juice.
- Infuse with ginger, cinnamon, mint, or orange peel to create different flavor profiles.
- For a thicker syrup, simmer for an additional 2–3 minutes.
